Tea Time
for the unemployed: “Keep the Pot boiling”
This project was both
encouraging and nourishing to bring hot tea and cookies
along with a message of hope to the men here that gather
daily searching for jobs. It was excellent to lift their
spirits and spread cheer among the seemingless monotony of
their daily efforts, especially out in the cold. Starting
in January, this project ended in May, 2006. We are hoping
to continue this project in the future to support those
forgotten by society.

Disaster Services Project: January 2006
During the
cold period this winter when there was no electricity and
gas, The Salvation Army loaded up its volunteers and
resources to distribute relief to the public in need. We
distributed food, candles, and firewood to give some
light, warmth, and joy to people in such hard times!

To see those smiles gave us reason to
smile and Praise the Lord for His mercies!!
Do Something
Project:
March 2005
This demonstrated the pure Mission of the Salvation Army,
“A heart to God, Hand to Man”. If man is hungry, give
Him food to eat, if a man is thirsty, give him drink
(Matthew 25:40). We distributed meals to the needy and
showed God’s Love and proclaimed the message of hope

English Classes:
Many Georgians desire to learn
English, increase their vocabulary and speak. The
Salvation Army offered classes to help people do just that
and have fun while building relationships in the process.
We hope to continue this valuable program which helped
partially fund some of the Tea Time project.
